LOOKING FOR A NEW CAREER?

Partly as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, demand for driving instructors is greater than ever meaning it's a great time to consider changing your career.

Driving Ambition Training can provide all training and aids to help you become an Approved Driving Instructor. All the materials and practical training you will require for the program will be provided by our Grade A driving instructor with experience in training driving instructors and running a successful local driving school for nearly 25 years. You will receive in person training of no less than 40 hours to help you achieve your new career. 

Once you have passed your part 2 driving test and have completed your 40 hours training you will be offered a “training licence” within Driving Ambition. Training licences offer you the chance to gain valuable experience as an Provisional Driving Instructor (PDI). You can charge for driving lessons at this point and PDI licences typically last for 1 year or until you pass your part 3 driving test. There is no obligation to do a PDI licence although this is the best way to gain the experience you require for your part 3 test. 

Once fully qualified you will be offered a permanent franchise within our growing driving school.

What’s required?

• No more than 3 penalty points on your licence
• Over the age of 21 and have held a full licence for over 3 years
• Pass the fit and proper person (CRB check)
• You must be patient, friendly, organised and professional
